The Coffee County Youth Leadership Program
• The program runs from August through May.
• An Orientation Retreat is required.
• Consists of 5 Classes:
Agriculture/Quality of Life
Education
Law Enforcement/Healthcare
Business/Industry
State Government
• Students will be selected to participate by school guidance counselors.
• Spaces are limited! Apply early.
• Open to students who will be sophomores and juniors in the school year. 10 students (5 Sophomores & 5 Juniors) from each school, Central Coffee County and Tullahoma High School, evenly divided by class year.
• Classes are one day each and students will be excused from school that day.There are no tests or homework. It will not add to school-work other than having to make up for what is missed in class.
• This is a great opportunity to learn more about Coffee County. Students will see how the county really works, and receive information to help them in the future.
• Coordinators will secure sponsors for each student. This will pay for the costs for the transportation each month and meals.
